The Connecticut Railroad Association represents freight hauling railroads, not only in the marketplace but also in the chambers of local, state and federal governments. Since its founding, the CRA has provided a forum for freight railroads to share information and to promote knowledge and understanding of the role of railroads in the safe, efficient and economic transportation of people and goods in and through the state. The CRA is a voluntary organization with its overriding purpose being the delivery of our industry message to public officials to participate in public debate of public policy issues affecting our industry, and to serve as an information resource to state and local public officials.
